Expedia is hiring Freshers for 'Software Development Engineer in Test' position
Job Description:
- Participating during all aspects of the product life-cycle from specification to production release.
- Working with Developers, Program Managers and Product Managers to design and implement test and validation strategies.
- Designing and code automated tests (functional and regression), run manual tests; verify builds and releases
- Contributing to requirements gathering, specification reviews and dev design in the early stages of the project.
- Identifying opportunities for process, tools and test methodology improvements and drive those from concept to implementation.
Qualifications:
- Proven software development combined with testing and automation experience
- Understanding of Big Data open source technologies
- Understanding of .Net, C#, ASP.Net and JQuery
- Excellent understanding of testing, test methodologies in an agile environment
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science
Skill Set:
- Good understanding of object oriented programming with strong coding and debugging abilities
- Knowledge of SQL, relational databases & XML preferred

- BA/BS degree in Computer Science
