10 Month Student Internship - Sales, Finance & Marketing role 

Oracle Corporation, the world’s leading Enterprise Software Company is looking for applicants for their Internship program starting in September 2011. The Internship is aimed at students who are currently in their 2nd year of their Undergraduate Business, Marketing, journalism or Media Studies degree, and will be taking a year in industry as part of their course. The successful candidate will work with the Public Sector, Education and Healthcare Industry Business Unit and will be based in the TVP, UK (Reading).

We are looking for an individual to work as a part of a fast moving international team who support the Sales and Marketing Organisation by providing Industry expertise and thought leadership.

Responsible for :

• Administration
• Administrative team support (organizing meetings, calls, etc.)
• Organization of internal and external events
• Coordinating monthly calls, web conferences, etc.
• Executing purchase orders
• Coordinating/publishing regular newsletters
• Marketing & PR
• Supporting the online community
• Supporting and organizing marketing and telemarketing campaigns
• Supporting execution of oracle marketing event
• Monitoring and supporting PR initiatives
• Composition of HTML announcements
• Supporting online knowledge management
• Operations
• Sales pipeline analysis
• Internet research on selected markets and companies
• Supporting revenue allocation in Oracle’s financial system Preparing win announcements

Skills required : 

• Fluency in English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks
• Ability to interact with all levels within the company, external customers and vendors
• Experienced Office user (Word, Excel)
• Experienced in using new media for communication (HTML)
